They are renovating part of the hotel but remain open with seriously subpar rooms. The rooms smell of mildew and the air-conditioning barely works making it quite fetid and humid in the rooms. The elevators were balky for a while and then were SHUT DOWN for two days. The only way to get to and from rooms was up and down a very hot staircase. Many of the channels on my ancient TV were mostly static. I called about this and some cables were replaced but somehow this didn't fix the problem. They only change your sheets if you request this. I found out about this on the fourth day (they acted like this was to be expected!) I posted a negative review on trip advisor and there was a more detailed negative review both of which have disappeared . Some one should check out how truly awful this hotel is - I know I was misled by trip advisor into booking and regret this.

I was very impressed by the free ""extras"" the hotel provided- beach towels, fruit at the front desk all day long, cookies in the evening, complementary drinks, red or white wine, coffee and tea, between 5:30 and 6:30 every evening, free use of computers and printers, headsets to use in the work-out room. The pool and the jacuzzi were heated to a very comfortable level. The rooms were very comfortable.
