I gave this hotel and overall rating of terrible in order to get your attention. If you're like me, you only read the bad reviews of hotels if there are any. What irked me about the Admiral Fell Inn is the $9.95 *extra* above and beyond the room rate you get charged every day. The services listed aren't really that spectacular and many hotels include them in their room rate. It's just a tricky gimmick by the Admiral Fell Inn to make it appear cheaper than it is. It's very irritating. Nevertheless...I found the staff to be very friendly and professional. My room was nicely appointed and clean. Avoid the valet parking fee by parking in one of the garages a few blocks away. Note - one of the garages is not open on Sunday so read the hours of operation before parking.

While the hotel rooms are small they are very nicely furnished for the price. The only problem I could see for someone is the foot traffic on the street is very loud when the bars let out. For us that was not a problem. The staff was outstanding and went out of there way to take care of a couple of minor discrepencies. We really felt we were taken care of. The decor is very regal and there is a great little bar and two restaurants attached. Meli is a great lounge for after dinner drinks and desert. Fin had some of the best chicken we ever had. The bar staff was great to talk to. This was our second trip to the Admiral Fell and we will definitely becoming back!! If you are considering a trip to Fell's Point/Inner Harbor, the Admiral Fell is the only way to go. Fell's Point rocks!!!!

This hotel was very quaint, smack dab in Fells Point. If your desire is to drink, eat and sightsee, then this is the place for you. Great bars and restaurants abound - a bit pricey, but it is a very historical touristy area. he room was very cozy and clean, but the ice vending area was filthy the entire three nights we were there.

When checking in, we discovered that our room wasn't available due to a guest extending his stay. We were moved to another property by the Inner Harbor which was nice but came back the next day to stay in Fells Point. It's an older property but the furnishings have a lovely period look. The staff and front desk personnel were very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful, really made us feel at home. The hotel is in a great location in Fells Point, across from the water and in the midst of most of the restaurants, taverns & shops. The hotel shuttle was very handy--really didn't need to use our car and we never had to wait more than a few minutes. We definitely would stay here again!

We loved the Admiral Fell. Even our 13 year old enjoyed the old world charm and the beautiful rooms. Overall it was a great experience, but Baltimore is expensive, and so was the Admiral Fell. The staff is fantastic. Be sure to ask Clarence the bell captain anything about basketball. Tea was mediocre, but the violin player was great. There is a nice computer in the lobby if you need it, and the shuttle was also very dependable. We had a bit of trouble getting a cot and perpetually had cold water in the shower. Park on Wolf or Fell street for free...just look for the proper or no signs. What you save will pay for the exttra fee they charge for the computer and shuttle.
