The hotel was over priced for what it was, the bathroom was very small. It is located close to Pier 39 and walking distance to many other atractions, the $* for parking is a joke, I mean if your staying at the hotel you shouldn't pay to park, when you go to a resturant you don't pay to park. So Overall I would not stay there again and I travel all over the world and have never been charged for parking.

Great location! We were able to go anywhere on the trolley, cable car and bus that we could pick up within a couple of blocks of the hotel. More restaurants in the area than we could possibly have eaten at. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone going to San Francisco.

I was loved my stay at the Tuscan. The room was small (as I hear all rooms are in that area) but delightfully decorated. Fresh, clean, and with so many nice touches--and a mirrored wall behind the bed--that it didn't seem so much "small" as "cozy". I took photos of the room to show my husband! It's a small hotel, no long lines, and a very efficient staff. Parking is expensive everywhere--about $*/night. BUT there is free street parking from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am if you're willing to get up early to save on expense. The hotel restaurant is lovely and friendly. I had the best calamari plate, accompanied by deep-fried lemon slices. Mmmmmmmmm. It is just 2-3 short blocks from Fisherman's wharf (5 minute walk) and about the same from the Marriott and Holiday Inn, and across the street from the Sheraton. I hightly recommend this hotel, and will use it again when I have a chance.

Hotel was okay. Rooms were very small. While there, a pipe broke in our bathroom, took twelve hours to get it fixed without even an apology. Also, there is a charge to use the in-room safe and this was not made clear on check in. Did not eat at attached cafe or order room service as we thought it was very expensive for what you get. Many restaurants close to the hotel though. Not a bad stay, just unfortunate circumstances.
