THis hotel professes to be a 4 or 5 star hotel but barely meets the minimum of a three a star. The rooms are overpriced for the money. The manager on duty gave inaccurate information regarding train times which resulted in missed site seeing opportunities, the hotel failed to deliver a wake up call which resulted in missed train and another change in travel plans. Room service and hotel restaurant charges were excessive even for Switzerland and of a so-so quality. One of the stairwells locked upon entry to the stairwell and then had a locked gate half way down the stairwell leaving no egress. Our granddaughter had to scale the gate/wall in order to get out of the stairwell and seek help. A very serious safety and fire hazard. The brochure indicated an exercise room which ended up being across the street at extra cost. The beds were OK but could be softer and there was no thermostat in the room to adjust temperature. Net, your money can be spent better elsewhere. The young men on the front desk were very nice. The night and weekend manager was awful.
