Stayed here for a week with two teenagers in connecting rooms. Rooms were beautiful with floor to ceiling windows. T stop right outside the hotel, Fenway park is walking distance. It is across the street from the Prudential center mall and a short walk to a plethora of hip restaurants and shops. Would absolutely stay here again.

I happened upon the Colonnade when the usual chain hotel I stay at was booked. Room was clean, modern, and comfortable and the restaurant is great. Conveniently located with customer-service oriented staff. The hotel even has two SMART cars for rent. I travel frequently to Boston and the Colonnade has turned into my first choice for lodging.

First trip to Boston and loved the city and this hotel. Would definately stay there again. -

Per the company website: "The Colonnade Hotel is an independent Boston luxury hotel with 285 elegantly appointed rooms and luxury suites". The problem is that not all rooms have been renovated, and even though we made our reservations months ago, we got one of the shabbiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Definately not elegantly appointed. Very basic room with torn bedspread, stained shower curtain, showerhead not attached to the wall, stained and snagged drapes. No coffee pot and 19 inch TV if that. Smelled badly of smoke, although the floor was supposed to be non smoking. Staff claimed they could not change our room due to hotel fully booked. A very disappointing experience.

I travel more than half the year on business and this is one of the worst hotels I have visited. I was put in a room where someone had smoked and no remedy supplied. Uncomfortable bed. Only nominally clean. This place is awful. Stay away.
