  The room was fine. The service was fine. The restaurant was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue is the Internet service. You can purchase Internet access at a rate of twelve pounds for twelve hours of connection time. The rate per hour is reasonable. The catch is that it is twelve CONTINUOUS hours that start the first time you use the Internet. That is, if you connect for five minutes to check your e-mail, then don't connect again for the rest of the twelve hours, you've just paid twelve pounds for five minutes of access.

  Our stay at the O Callaghan hotel was wonderful. My husband and I and our son traveled from the south of Spain to Gibraltar for a bit of english and a bit of ""English"". We truly enjoyed our stay the hotel staff was friendly, never had to wait on the lift and breakfast with a view, definitly a joy to wake up to. We had a suite with sleep accomodation in the room for our teenage son and the King size bed was great after a full day of hiking the rock. Have already started looking for room on the calendar to return.

  The hotel is well situated in the center of town however the rooms need to be renovated. The furniture was old and had many stains and dirt on it. The beds and sheets were Motel 6 quality.
